About The Club
The Cali Weed Club operates as a private, non-profit cannabis association. The space is designed for quiet, regulated use in compliance with Spanish standards for cannabis social clubs. All participation is restricted to members who complete the required registration.
The Cali Weed Club Space
We're two minutes from Urquinaona metro, in a quieter stretch of Dreta de l'Eixample. Walk in and it doesn't look like a standard Barcelona cannabis club, we don´t have strip lighting, nor plastic seating, we don´t even have a clinical counter setup. Local artists worked on the walls. The seats are deep and comfortable. There's a bar. There's a kitchen. The music was chosen by someone who actually cares about music. Members turn up, sit down, and stay for hours. That's the room we built.
Cali Weed Barcelona Members
Our minimum age is twenty-one, not eighteen, a bit higher than most Barcelona cannabis clubs, and that changes who's actually inside. Visitors on longer trips. People working in the city. Older creatives. Members who've done a couple of the busier clubs and wanted somewhere with more space and less noise. Staff speak English, French, Italian, and Spanish, so the conversations flow whatever language you turn up in. Nobody's shouting to be heard. The people at the next table might end up being the reason you stay another hour.
Membership Process
Twenty-one and over. Bring a passport, or an EU national ID if you have one. Come to the door, fill in the short form, and you're a member. No waiting list, no invitation, no strange questions. Same day, same visit. Once you're in, you're welcome back any day we're open.

- Do I need to be a member before I turn up? No. Bring ID and you can sign up at the door. Takes a few minutes.
- What's the minimum age? Twenty-one. We do check every ID. It's a bit higher than most Barcelona cannabis clubs and it's how we keep the room the way it is.
- What ID works? Passport works for everyone. EU national ID cards work if you have one. Driving licences and photocopies don't count, we need the real document.
- How is Cali Weed different from other cannabis clubs in Barcelona? Two main things. First, the room itself, it's built as a lounge, not a bar, so it's quieter and more comfortable. Second, the twenty-one-plus rule changes who's in the room. If you've been to a few Barcelona cannabis clubs already and want somewhere calmer, this is the one people usually mean.
- Can tourists join? Yes, most of our members are visitors. Same process as for locals: bring your passport, sign up at the door, done.
- Can I bring a friend? Yes, but they'll need to sign up too. Everyone in the room has to be a member and twenty-one or over. Bring ID for each person and it's quick.
- Is it easy to find from the tourist part of town? Very. Two minutes from Urquinaona, six to seven from Plaça Catalunya or Passeig de Gràcia. If you can get to the main tourist strip, you can get here on foot.
- Is it legal? Cannabis clubs in Catalonia run under a specific legal setup for private members' associations. Cali Weed operates fully within that. Being a member is a legal arrangement, not a purchase — worth knowing if you're new to how these places work.
